Compass Rose Cupids: Delivering Love to Our Seniors

“Because everyone deserves to be seen.”

At Compass Rose Senior Strategies, our mission has always been to provide strategic guidance and compassionate care for our aging community. But we know that care goes beyond placement and planning, it is also about connection.

Statistics show that social isolation is one of the greatest risks facing our seniors today. This Valentine’s Day, we are launching Compass Rose Cupids to change that. We want to remind the seniors in our community who may be spending the holiday alone that they are valued, they are cherished, and most importantly, they are seen.

We are accepting community nominations for local seniors who are living alone and could use a little extra joy this February 14th. Selected seniors will receive a special "Compass Rose Care Package" delivered by our team, featuring a small gift to brighten their day.

How It Works:

  1. Nominate: Do you know a senior neighbor, former colleague, or church member who is solitary? Fill out the referral form below.

  2. Verify: Our team will review the submission to ensure they meet the eligibility area and criteria.

  3. Deliver: On or before Valentine’s Day weekend, our "Cupids" will deliver a contactless, safe, and heartwarming surprise to select Senior doorstep.

Program Requirements (The "Fine Print")

To ensure we can reach those who need it most within our service capabilities, nominees must meet the following criteria:

  • Age: Must be 65 years or older.

  • Living Situation: Must currently be living alone (not in a congregate care facility with an active activity schedule, as we are trying to reach those without built-in social networks).

  • Location: Home address must be within a 25-mile radius of ZIP Code 70403.

  • Accessible and safe location for safety of our volunteers.

  • Nomination Limit: One nomination per person to allow us to serve as many unique seniors as possible

  • Deadline: February 9
